Combination of tours AH19 and AH11. We head for the Reykjanes peninsula where the Atlantic ridge rises above the ocean. We pass the lighthouse on the westernmost tip of the peninsula which is a magnificent area with rich bird life. You can hear the surf crashing at the beautiful basaltic cliffs. It’s simply magical! After a short stop by the Blue Lagoon we continue to Reykjavík and from there to the Golden Circle Express tour. We start visiting Þingvellir, a geologically unique place where the American and the Eurasian tectonic plates meet. We continue to view the majestic and beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, the incredible spouting hot spring of Geysir and Strokkur. We visit Hveragerði with its large greenhouses before travelling over a mountain heath back to the capital. We reserve the right to alter or change the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.
